Inulin: A Thoughtful Lactose-Free Filler

For patients who prefer to avoid lactose, we often use inulin as a capsule filler. Derived from Jerusalem artichoke, inulin provides a simple plant-based alternative to traditional lactose-containing fillers.

We choose USP-compliant inulin because it aligns with our goal of offering carefully selected ingredients that support individualized care and common dietary preferences.

Phytobase

For patients with sensitive skin, the ingredients in a cream can matter just as much as the medication itself. Phytobase is free of fragrances, dyes, parabens, mineral oil, SLS, and propylene glycol. It uses plant-derived oils and vitamin E and is often selected when a gentle, well-tolerated cream base is desired.

Independent lab testing shows hormone creams made in Phytobase remain potent for up to 180 days, so patients can count on their medication lasting.

Please note: Phytobase is preserved with benzoic and sorbic acid at low levels in order to prevent microbial growth. Most patients tolerate this well, though we can discuss other preservative free options, such as HyaluronV Anhydrous cream.

HyaluronV Anhydrous

HyaluronV is a water-free moisturizing base formulated with sodium hyaluronate. Because it contains no water, it can be prepared without the preservative system often required in traditional creams.

It is free of dyes, fragrances, sulfates, parabens, and added preservatives, making it a useful option for patients with ingredient sensitivities.

Its excellent muco-adhesive properties make it particularly well suited for vaginal applications, where longer contact time may be beneficial.

V33 Base

V33 is a vegetable-derived suppository base that melts at approximately 33°C, just below body temperature. Its lower melting point can make it a comfortable choice for vaginal preparations.

V33 also releases cleanly from the mold without requiring additional mold-release agents.

V65 Base

V65 also melts at approximately 33°C and includes beeswax as a natural emulsifier, which helps your medication stay in contact with vaginal tissue a little longer.

Like V33, it releases cleanly from the mold without requiring additional mold-release agents.
